Hey guys,
I have a power hatch pulldown, well, at least the motor is in there. If I plug it in it turns on as well. I want to fix this, any sticky's or anything I missed on these? My hatch always looks like it's popped since the pulldown doesn't work, and the latch is stuck in the up position. _________________ 1986 Camaro Z-28 IROC-Z 350 swap |

So if I buy that deluxe pulldown repair kit on there I should have everything I need to fix it? I just looked at it again, and there's a green ribbon of wire coming off that's cut, but if I plug the thing in it turns on. I'm guessing maybe a bit of wiring, that kit, and all should be good. Thanks man. _________________ 1986 Camaro Z-28 IROC-Z 350 swap |

it sounds like your motor is ok, if it turns, you may just need the sliders, and maybe the gear-screw. The deluxe kit includes a new motor.
That is why I suggest digging into it, to try to see if you can figure out what is going on.
The ribbon cable probably got pulled, because it is stuck in the up-possition. So, as soon as you plug it in, it tries to close itself. |

Cool, I'll look back there again after work, I'm hoping it stops snowing at some point, it's cold and lame here right now. Fortunately it's not so much snow I can't drive the Camaro. _________________ 1986 Camaro Z-28 IROC-Z 350 swap |
