|

| 20 plus years of grime and gunk out of your engine bay? I'm slowly getting my engine bay all cleaned out after pulling the motor. I've been using a mix of gunk and heavy duty degreaser with wire brushes but it's taking forever. Any other suggestions? I plan on doing under the car too and keep in mind I don't have access to a hose. |

Simple green. A pressure washer like at a car wash (Self Wash) place works well also _________________ kurfbird

| Castrol Superclean works awesome. Be careful if you want to keep the paint on there though, if you leave it sit too long it will remove that too. |

Same here. I rarely clean the engine compartment, but that stuff works wonders if you use it right. Plus it's not going to kill you to breathe it, which is a nice bonus. |

| You need a hose, super clean, and a brush of sorts. |

But if you don't kill brain cells it isn't any fun! I always used laquer thinner, it works alright. _________________ 1983 Z-28 5.7 LT1, T56, Headman headers, BW 9 Bolt Posi Disc, WS6 suspension
