The big one is feed, small is return.

The smallest one or the second smallest. I have a third line that you can see, and I just have a hose vented to the outside

The smallest line is the evap can. You can leave it open, but ideally you want to run some sort of catch on it (like an old fuel filter).

Cool. So I did something halfway right. When I got car, the mech fuel pump has a port with a 2 inch hose stuffed with a nut, so I assumed that was return so I hooked it up. The return line and evap line were just hooked to each other with some hose. Now I just need to find a way to route my lines better so they don't look like poo

I know the filter isn't a catch can. It will keep crap out of the line, and it will keep whatever drops of gas might make it out with the vapor from hitting the ground. I used a plastic Wix carb filter on mine, ran it that way for years.
