ok so i want to get a 350 block and slowly build it up and then drop it in my car so i was looking on craigslist and found this

What's a roller block? And I want it to not be super decked out I just want a motor that I Can drive daily and also take to the track every once in awhile

Spokane from Seattle is wayyyyyyy too f-in far for a starter motor dude. Roller block is a factory roller cam motor that you don't have to worry about oil additives.

yeah thats like going across the state lol, anyway i think ill just try to find a roller block to start with, starting with a motor that was used for racing sounds kinda "iffy"

You'd want to have it magnafluxed checked for cracks.

Better main caps are a good deal. If you've never done a motor before it's a good idea to get it line bored anyways. I like to have them done reguardless unless it's a stocker and "feels" okay with the crank in there.

The roller blocks also have a 1 piece rear main seal which seems to be more durable.
