So I am quite sure the "new" injectors I have are plugged as well the ones I pulled out (thats why I got diff ones)
So searching for more. Car has 21.6/22lbs in it now. I am wondering what other side effects I would have if I went to some 30lb and adjusted the pcm for it?
faster injector pulse? any downside?
anything else? _________________ 2008 GMC Z71

The only thing I have heard is you start to loose the ability to meter fuel at small pulse widths. Since the injector has to flow such a large amount of fuel the holes don't do well at small flows, not as well as a smaller injector would. _________________ E30

You think 30lb would be to much? I do plan to go to the alumn vette heads, or maybe vortecs in near future.
Remember that I'm also OBD2.
Have a friend who wants to turbo it, but doubt the cash will be found to do it. |

| I would run the BSFC numbers and see what you need. The LT1's come with 24lb/hr injectors and the corvette engine puts out 300hp (camaro 275). |

30's aren't too big.
With MPFI losing idle pulse width isn't as big an issue as with TBI.
Run 24s if you're not planning to go over 300 RWHP. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

| 300 is my goal with n/a. But in looking for 24s', seems I can get 30's cheaper then 24's because of less people bidding on them (evilbay). |

Heh and you think you've got injector problems now.
Something like that I wouldn't buy used.
Ford SVO from summit are a steal. 24s or 30s they even flow more than the standard rating because Fords lb/hr measurement is at a lower pressure. So they flow more like 25.5 or 31.5... _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Paul's right. The SVO 30lb I just bought were a really good deal. They're $240 from Summit right now.
Doesn't look like there are any 24lb ones on there though.

EDIT: At the risk of sounding dumb due to speaking from memory, Ford flows their injectors at 39.5psi. That's the number I recall. GM flows theirs at 43psi. Hence the Ford ones at 43psi in a GM system actually flow about 8% better. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56
