| si there an easy wayto pull my casting number from the back of the engine because it seems like to me that its going to be a pita unless you guys and gals have a trick for me? im really only trying to find it because apparently my engine is a mutt and my suffix code doesnt show up anywhere its V0429FDW CF7179857 and my heads are stamped as 354434 which i hear are 75-79 smoggers. just trying to figure this beast out. anything helps as always. |

Use a mechanics mirror and a flashlight. Drivers side right behind the head. Usually not too tough unless you've got the smog pipe for the AIR system still there. Then you're f-ed. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

354434 are 60cc 305 heads from the mid 70's. Had the same ones on my old 350 before it blew. _________________
