Does anyone know if you can put a new magnet on a magnetic pickup distributor? I BROKE one on a vehicle that I'm working on and the parts store will not sell me just the shaft with the pressed on magnet.
I was trying to get the rotor off with a screw driver when i broke the magnet I ended up using a pair of channel locks to break the rotor. Stock 130k mile ignition parts finally broke. _________________ E30

| Thanks man. I'll try to find one here local but if it doesn't work out I'll be calling you. The truck has a large cap, but it's not coil on cap. |
