There's got to be ways to get to em. A distributor wrench might help there. Longer extensions and a universal if you can't get to the bolts on the cat. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

My 3.1 took a universal with extension and a socket (13mm or 15mm IIRC), pretty tricky to get it on the bolt with the with the intake plenum almost in the way. _________________ 92 Camaro

I have to laugh cause I hated that dizzy bolt until I removed the air injection line. You know, that 1/2" diameter hardline that goes directly above the bolt. I always got mine by using a wobble on a 15mm shallow socket.
Good luck! _________________ E30

good lord....that was the toughest thing i had ever done just to replace a stinkin o-ring geez...anyway, i finially got it off and replaced the o-ring and i had to re-do the timing so i advanced it a lil bit from stock, and as the cat goes hehehehe power saws are awesome just cut it off and then use a hammer and piece of metal pipe and gutted it out so its completely hollow now....it sounds so much better now |
