Finally got the electric fan installed. And look, the hood is staying open all by itself! Very Happy



Hey Aaron, we even did it right with a relay and everything! Very Happy BTW, my fan shroud is all yours if you still want it.

You still should have brought it out here. I would have at least given you some convoluted loom and a weatherproof fuse holder. Razz

Use of a relay does show promise for you, John.

Actually it's probably better you didn't bring it out here. I've had the Yota torn apart all day.

The only loom James had was chrome! I said NO WAY! I will get some nice black loom soon. Wink

As for the fuse holder; it's what came with the relay so... Wink

Nice, is that a hayden fan relay kit? Notice and difference in performance taking that clutch fan out?

Not sure who makes the relay, it was one James bought years ago and never got around to installing so he gave it to me.

I didn't notice any gain from the loss of parasitic drag, but it sure cleaned up the engine bay! Wink
