Finally got the electric fan installed. And look, the hood is staying open all by itself!
Hey Aaron, we even did it right with a relay and everything! BTW, my fan shroud is all yours if you still want it.

You still should have brought it out here. I would have at least given you some convoluted loom and a weatherproof fuse holder.
Use of a relay does show promise for you, John.
Actually it's probably better you didn't bring it out here. I've had the Yota torn apart all day. |

The only loom James had was chrome! I said NO WAY! I will get some nice black loom soon.
As for the fuse holder; it's what came with the relay so...  |

| Nice, is that a hayden fan relay kit? Notice and difference in performance taking that clutch fan out? |

Not sure who makes the relay, it was one James bought years ago and never got around to installing so he gave it to me.
I didn't notice any gain from the loss of parasitic drag, but it sure cleaned up the engine bay!  |
