Ow difficult is it to install power windows in a car that originally didn't have them? |

If you get the harness with the switches, relays and whatnot, it shouldn't be too difficult. You do need to change the regulators, that would be the hard part because of the spring in them - power and manual regulators are different. _________________ 92 Camaro

If you're going to paint the car it's easier to swap the doors than to fish around inside the door.
Harness is divorced from the main harness, but it runs behind the dash, so you have to disassemble a lot to get it out. |

Or cut at the top-middle of the dash and solder/shrinkwrap back together. That way you don't have to remove absolutely everything. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

I would actually route it different than stock. GM ran it through a hard conduit that attaches to the inside of the firewall under the windshield. If you were retrofitting I would think a lower routing would be much easier. |
