Sometime between 11pm-1am this happened. Didn't hear it because I was at band practice. Got the whole wheel arch and door. No note or anything.

Sigh

Hope you have uninsured motorist Paul. When that happened to us in a restaraunt parking lot they took care of it all! It sure pisses you off though.

I know it doesnt help but at least its not new paint yet. Maybe it can be turned into a paint job?

I do have uninsured. It's way more damage than blue book. Hell, blue book only goes back to 91 now and a similar Maro from 91 is only worth $2300.

Well.. see what they'll give you.. May end up doing what I had to. Salvage title sucks.. but not planning to get rid of it. Insurance gave me enough $$ to get her done though. If they'd just paid for the repair I wouldnt have as nice a car as I do. I really really didnt want to be doing that project at the time though. As I assume you dont either.

We dont live as close any more, but if there's any help I can provide just ask.

If Kelley works their pricing like NADA, then anything prior to 1991 is considered "Classic/Exotic" and the values are a bit higher. Didn't know all your options, but NADA will put yours anywhere between $2500 and $7300

First few steps are done

Jeezum crow, Paul. They've smacked that car from both sides now. No no no...

Time to start going through receipts so you can get the insurance company for as much as it's worth. Then you'll have to decide if it's worth salvaging that body or finding a roller.

Sorry to see that man. Hopefully some one steps forward with some info, Preston is a small town.

I have been worried about this same thing happening and want the leverage on my side. Take lots of pictures and or videos of your rides before this happens and some adjuster starts point to beaters on C/L as a reference.

poop!
wasnt that the same side as the slight damage before? looks like they missed the door? just the rear 1/4 panel and tailights? shouldnt be more than 2300 to fix? maybe do some of the bodywork ?

I'm so sorry dude......that......wow.....that sucks..........

Good luck with Ins....I know you had a file/folder with most of your reciepts.

Brandon's probably got the right idea though, even if Ins totals it, you still get a check, and you can repair the damage from there.

slight caveat..... (band? :) )

Was in Burien. Just south of Seattle. We'll see what they give me. I don't really have the time or space to do a paint job let alone adding a ton of body work.

The old damage is on the other side Rolling Eyes

Plus I just sold my bumper parts to Bad Dawg figuring it'd be atleast a year or two before thinking about paint on this car. The doors are rusted out, and I'm getting some decent rust coming through the paint on the line just above the windshield.

We'll see what good ol Farmers does for me this time.

Yeah band. Though we are losing our lead guitar due to moving.

Paul that totally sucks! those rear quarter panels are the worst, since they are so hard to fix. I'm sure the situation will pan out for the best soon.

If he hasn't got rid of it yet, there's a driver side door on Luke's (91camaro rs) for sale thread ($10 last price I saw).
