The shift handle looks like it would be just the right height as a floor shifter in a full size truck.

lol.. I think it comes from the 4speed days when a little force was needed. Looks just like the 60/70s era 4speed shifters. My HD 396 3spd had a shifter that looked just like that.. If you were speed shifting it took a bit of force to ram it home. Enough that sometimes you bent the linkage instead and ended up in 2 gears at once.
Remember the truck 4speeds had a stick so long it hit both the seat and the dash board. The 68 gmc I had actually had the paint worn off the dash where it rubbed.. and you could barely get it in reverse(was back and towards you on that one). |

For some reason I've always liked those daytona TAs. Would be cool to update one a bit. LSx, mild drop, lower body colored CCWs. _________________
