Very Happy

275/40R17 Nitto NT05 on 17x9 Camaro SS 10-spokes.

Complete black carpeted interior from the 45k '85 Berlinetta.

Miscellaneous bits for general interior appearance.

3.73 LS1 rear with Auburn Pro, LCARBs, Aluminum driveshaft

Here she sits tonight on the inaugural run to the store. I'll get much better pics with the DSLR over the weekend, this is just a cell camera shot. And the car is really dirty from sitting on jackstands in the carport for the last few weeks. Laughing

I recommend more dirt, and taller springs in the back, Gabe. Razz

If I didn't know any better, I'd think Aaron was being sarcastic. Laughing

I recommend an engine. Laughing

It's going a heck of a lot lower and much cleaner very soon. I was just excited to drive it after a month and a half. Smile Thought I'd stick up a picture.

Fenderwell gap is crazy. Now that I have the nice tires and wheels, it's probably Ground Control Weight Jacks and C5 brakes next up in the budget.

Looking good Gabe. Feels nice to drive them when you haven't been able to for a while.... Like, oh ya, these cars are fun!

I couldn't stand the picture from last night, so here's one while still dripping from the hose-off. I definitely need to update my stance. Laughing

Razz

Engine I got. It's everything else that's broken or missing.

Car looks much better in the second pic, Gabe You need to squirrel around a bit and get rid of those tire stickers. Laughing

And wax that car! Very Happy

Looking good, Gabe. I might be in the market for some different wheels and the sizes I'm looking at have the option for NT05s so let us know how you like them.

Small update on the NT05s:

I have around 350-400 miles on them now, and I just messed around a bit today. First impressions are... these tires rock!

They seem predictable cornering on the edge, they hook up decently into second gear even with the new 3.73s. They seem to run better and better the more heat I get in them, but I haven't had a chance to heat them up too much yet. I was caught in a rainstorm the other day and all seemed well, it was nearly as surefooted as in the dry.

So far, initial impressions are very good. I think these tires offer a very good "bang for the buck" in the price range they are placed. 275/40R17s ran me around $800 for the set of 4 mounted and balanced.
