ok so my fan was on its own little harness i made and it was on a manual switch with an automatic switch for when it hit 200* and so i hooked the fan back into the wiring harness of the car so its setup like stock now, using the stock fan relay, i used tuner pro and set my fan enable at 195 and disable at 180

but the fan turns on when the ignition is on.... why is that

also my aldl wont connect anymore idk whats up with that

I don't know your fan setup but the relay turns on when one of the 3 or so wires are grounded. my "temp switch" turns my fan on, all it does is ground the wire when it gets hot enough

so make sure your wires are not grounded where they shouldn't be. I hope that made sense..

My fan came on with improperly burned chips.

And or you've got it wired incorrectly.

when i did the fan wiring i changed where the ground goes to a better spot and i used a new nut and bolt for my halo/headlight ground... i guess i need to sand the paint off where the bolt goes in cause its not making a good connection, my high beams are on super dim so they are orange, and my right turn indicator on the cluster stays on....haha ill fix that ground tomorrow, i wanna start dealing with highway fuel mode next

Shake proof washers... you know the ones with teeth, are awesome for grounds. They'll dig through the paint without having to remove it.
