				| Sometime this spring I am going to replace the head liner and visor covers. The visor covers will be leather to match the motif of the interior, the headliner will remain black. When that happens I will put in this optional overhead console. I wanted to push the Show Theme button once again, and the overhead will do that nicely.

It is in mint Condition, and even has the FireBird flashlight and it works great.

The bud who gave it to me took Off the sunglasses pouch and had a metal plate polished and the shark etched on
And then covered in clear, it blew me away. I have seen these over heads in the Camaro’s but not in the TA’s.

The other mod will be replacing my current hood shocks that I had just put on…timing! with these polished shocks.
I thought the polshed shocks well actually the entire hinge set up all polished would really give that extra bit of show bling under the hood.
After doing a few shows last season, I have learned that the unique and custom themes do well and win!

				| I had always thought the center console and flashlight option was Chebbie only. However that 'Firebird' light clearly shows otherwise. Must have been a much rarer option. Nice score, Rich. | |

				| Thanks man and I'm with you on that feature Aarron, I am going to have to dig in and find what year had that overhead option. Out of all the TA's I've seen none had that overhead, they were like mine just the black panel and dome light.

				| most GTAs got the overhead console with the flashlight, I like mine And that stilly flashlight has actually saved me a couple times now, who knew?

But that plate instead of the pocket looks wicked!

				| My buddy Alex's old '85 TA had that console. I always thought it was pretty cool. Now just replace that bulb with an LED. _________________

				| Good info thanks! I was wondering about the years that particular style of console was available, I have also seen without the flashlight, so maybe it was the early GTA's that had the light? _________________

I got that console on an 1987 Trans am.
I replaced a starter in a 93 explorer with that flashlight..
does the spotlight work good? I've never replaced my bulb.

That shark looks awesome! my floppy (sunglasses?) holder looks bad I think.
