The pulley on my 89 froze up this morning. It made a terrible squeal as I pulled to light to stop, then the car stalled and wouldn't start up again. Might be time for a new battery too since I was able to jump start the car at home and overcome the drag of the frozen pulley, still squealing like mad.

I ahve a delete pully that I modified to repalce my compressor on my 92 bird 3.1 v6 let me know if interested.

Will either work for my 89 305? I know the compressor is on the other side of the motor than the V6. I want to keep A/C, but currently have no refrigerant in the system. If the delete pulley will work on the V8, I might go that route until I can charge the system, then replace the compressor when I do.

Ether will work being the compressor is the same for v6 or v8. The pully iteself was not modified. Just had to add some shims to make it work for a v6 car.

Cool. I'm interested in the compressor then. Where can we meet? Bothell or Lynwood is easy enough for me, just a ferry ride and I have some trips on my pass to use up.
