				| Since you beat me by two minutes I guess I'll post on yours. I didn't like it. Didn't like their driving, the car they picked, the challenge, their humor or lack thereof. Not a fan. And I dont like foust. Maybe I'll give it a few months and try again. It is their first episode. _________________

				| I hate Foust. He's a board. Hopefully they ditch him and find somebody better. I haven't watched it yet. Probably catch it sometime tonight. It'll take them at least a season to get the same chemistry that the UK version has. Have any of you season the first few eps of the current styled UK version? Very bland. | |

				| It was nowhere as good as the UK version. One huge mistake is trying too hard to make it the same. They should have just made their own show. | |

				| i wasnt impressed with it at all.
The driving was lame, why the hell they needed a celebrity apprearance is beyond me, and it was just boring over all

I turned it on and was like WTF?! WHAT IS THIS??? Thats not top gear.... it used to be so funny and they did some crazy stuff on it like the reliant robin, the challenger debut where they had to make the "boring" episode, the salt flats runs, and the volcano thing with the truck! Not to mention the insane beat down of the toyota to show it was "bulletproof"

these guys just drove around to ditch a cobra.... which was probably on closed streets its not as entertaining, looks like ill be getting my fill of top gear from the dvd's from now on...

They are currently filming the 16th season. The Stig got fired, though, so it will be interesting to see how the show develops without him.

				| That was just the most recent Stig. They will have a new one. If you go to their website you can see how they choose a new Stig

				| During filming for the last 15 seasons, they have had more than one Stig. One of them outed himself and got fired, no big deal.
I watched the American version, it wasn't great, it had a couple of good lines by the fat guy.

Remember kiddies, it took until about the 4th season of the UK version, for it to really get good. I think don't think Foust will ever have "it" to be a real Top Gear type, but if they find some replacement for him, I think with some time it could be entertaining.

I just watched one of the Season 3 episodes for Top Gear Australia, and it is actually starting to get to be pretty good, they figured out what bits to copy, and what parts to make their own and they have their own style now. Of course it still isn't the UK version, but it better than their first season by a factor of 100.

What season are they on with the aussie version? I remember watching an ep from season 1 awhile ago and it was horrible.
Figured it take awhile to get a good character mesh going on.

Oh and I've got a .pdf of the Stig's book if anyone's interested...for...assessment purposes of course.

Yeah, but Collins was the main guy for them for several years now. That's the beauty part of having a disguised character though.

				| I watched the last 5 minutes of it and found it mildy intertaining. It has alot of potential, they just need the right guys on the bus, and Fouts isnt one of them. Paul Tracy would have been a better choise than Fouts. The guy is known for drifting, what the hell is he doing actually turning corners and juding cars? | |

				| it's ok. but it is going to have to wake up pretty early in the morning to top the original. or even come close.
my favorite line in Top Gear, when the older guy rolls the reliant robin "oh no, I've crashed it! I've crashed it almost immediately.."
