So i had that type R laying around and the other day a 06 f150 was sold to a ford dealer we do commercial jobs for, my manager told me i could pull the back seat because there might be an amp behind it, so i yanked the seat and it was an audio jackpot! I got a 4 channel DB drive amp and a monoblock DB drive for free, along with some 00 gauge wire (dont know what im gonna use it for) a battery isolater, distribution blocks and some other fun stuff so i pretty much had my system fall into my lap

now i was going to build a box designed around the type R but being that im all for re using old stuff i took the 10" box i had and modified it for the 12" type R, and i also sealed the entire thing with caulking while i was at it, inside and out just to be sure. I had to cut an identical piece of 3/4" MDF for the top to cover the old holes. I took the 10" slot and shaved it as far out as i could for the new sub, its pretty much flushed up against the front and back wall lol, I kept it seperated in the middle and just used the passenger side to run my wires through so it looks very clean, the wires go in the old terminal cup spot, and out the top where i drilled a hole underneath the amp

after all that i carpeted the box to match the camaro, for a cheap temporary box its amazing it doesnt fit perfectly but im not big on that, it hits hard as hell, ive got my EQ on flat, my bass boost is off on the deck and the amp, everything is minimally tuned and its still too loud sometimes lol heres some pics just cuz i like showing off my work

**NOTE** the 4 channel is not screwed down to the metal, i took a piece of 1/2" MDF and slid it under the carpet and screwed into that...im not that retarded lol
