Mine's either leaking again or the spoiler mounting holes are. Need to investigate soon. I have a feelling I didnt apply enough sealer though.
You must have painted it on the car last time? |

Mine leaks past the weatherstrip on the hatch and gets the headliner and seat wet. Thought it was fixed, but the heavy rains we've had lately said no. I need to fill a notch that was cut into the welt (to route a satellite radio antenna wire - not by me) that the seal mounts to, then put on a new weatherstrip, which arrived today. _________________ 92 Camaro

| I kinda doubt its the weatherstrip since it sits up on a lip. The lip itself would route the water around the hatch opening. Unless thats the part you're saying is cut. I'd look closely at the hinge mounting bolts. If they're not sealed it will leak into the headliner. |

| That's the case, the lip is cut and allows water to leak under the weatherstrip. I've torn the weatherstrip a little bit trying to find this leak, so it needs replacing anyway. |

Ya I did paint it on the car last time, I didnt know how bad the leak was. she was only driven in summer, and lived indoors. Now she lives outside, so I had to fix it before winter this year. _________________ 1987 - Trans am GTA, hooker headers, Borla catback, Cat delete, CAI, 9.6 @ 75mph 1/8mile
