Talk about time flies, 9-24-10 was the 27 year anniversary of owning the Shark.
Yep 27 years ago I rolled a New Shark onto the street.
I will never forget pulling up to that first stop light, and the drivers around me just staring at this sweet new machine!
T-Tops Off Tunes Up, Man what a rush!
Back in the day that ride drew more attention then the vettes, and silver
was not a common color, you could find red, black and some white.
It was cool watching the detail crew unwrap the plastic covers off of the seats, and
then POW that new car scent hit my nose, man that was such a rush standing there
waiting for my ride to be unpackaged from the transport.
Even though it was a short time, it seemed liked forever.
Then I was handed the keys, and I was down the road, lots of great memories from the day, and many more to make!
The TA came with FireStone Tires in the day! _________________

Dude, there is some goofy looking dude all leaning up against your car. I would be pi$$ed.
But for real congratulations on the the car and keeping it looking so clean.
I once bought a brand new car off the showroom floor. It was a Mazda 323 hatch back. not nearly as cool.
Of course aint no one in a members only jacket ever rubbed all up against it either. _________________ Killing mailboxes since 2009 |

Congrats man Not many single owner cars of this era, and most of the others don't look as good.
I was waiting for this post after your text last night _________________ 92 Camaro

A single owner on a car that's nearly a year older than me.......crazy.
I still remember the first time you popped the hood on that thing. Still can't get over how clean that engine bay was. Seldom see that on a third-gen f-body.
Hands down the best looking pre-86 firebird I've seen. _________________

That is still one bad ass ride man! Hard for me to imagine owning any car that long, I think my record is about 4 years! I remember the looks my '82 used to get even as late as 1990. People gave our cars alot more respect before the 4thgen came out. _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

Saw a couple of nice ones in Renton recently as well. A well maintaned IROC and a '91-'92 RS vert with mirror-like burgundy paint. Unfortunately it also had 22" wheels. |
