What a beautiful day it was in the NW! 90+ degrees in Tacoma. James, Aaron and I got together for a day of wrenching on 3rdgens and other car related stuff. We went to the Rally in the Alley carshow, Lakewood Pull-a-Part, Baxters Autoparts, and O'Reilly's Autoparts! But first we wrenched on my Taurus!
Aaron trying not to burn himself while soldering a wire on my wagon while James studys his technique.
3rdgens awaiting their turns under the knife
OK, we didn't really work on my T/A but I felt a pic was warranted
James' Camaro before we started messing with it
It started getting hot so we moved the party into the garage

Re-installed the intake manifold to fix some oil leaks then replaced the computer controlled HEI with a vacuum advance one from the JY since the computer controlled Q-Jet was already replaced with an Edelbrock carb. No more ECM!!! |
