Ever since a couple days ago when I view a post, it doesn't get marked as read. Ihave to click the mark all topics read button to get things to appear read. Any suggestions? _________________ 1986 Camaro Z-28 IROC-Z 350 swap |

Date/time is right, I tried clearing the cache first. _________________ 1986 Camaro Z-28 IROC-Z 350 swap |

| You aren't using the back button after reading a post are you? If you just back up, it won't refresh the index page. Try reading a post, and then click the link at the top to the forum you are in, and see if it shows the topic read. if it doesn't, try to refresh that page, and see if it then shows it as read. |

Nope, not using the backbutton. I'm a webdeveloper, so, I'm probably not doing something totally stupid, but then again, I could be. But, neither thing helped. Might be my browser being lame, I am running a beta version of Ubuntu that shipped with FF 3.6.3, and it may have bugs, I suppose... _________________ 1986 Camaro Z-28 IROC-Z 350 swap |

hmmm, I don't have an Ubuntu build running right now, I can see if I can find a copy of that version of FF, and install it on my Fedora box, and see what happens. If you want, shoot me an e-mail or PM with more specifics. Also, if you can find a new post that it is having problems on, and e-mail me without visiting the site again. I can really dig into the database and see what it is showing.
I have a feeling, that it is something to do with the browsers interaction with the page, I honestly very very rarely have something actually mess up in the database or software on the forum. |

If it's just me, it's for sure my browser. I'll test on the Win7 machine and see what it does. _________________ 1986 Camaro Z-28 IROC-Z 350 swap |

| I verified it is working on my windows machine with IE, Chrome, and FF 3.6.3. I am almost sure it is something with the browser. Have you tried one of the other browsers on that machine? Maybe Opera will yield different results. |

Yeah, def. the browser, logged in on my Win7 box and the ones that are marked unread over here, are not on IE7. Thanks for the help, I should have tested on another machine first thing. _________________ 1986 Camaro Z-28 IROC-Z 350 swap |
