Went to go test the new setup on low boost (10-11 PSI Max) and a mild tune on E85 (About 19*-20* igniton advancement). Density altitude for the day was 8667 Feet, temp was 77* and surface temp was well over 80*, so the slicks hooked pretty well (20 psi). Car dialed in at 3420 lbs. without me in it.
1.910 60' foot (Best 60' time of any W-Body ever at Bandimere Speedway) and a best pass of the day of 13.204 @ 103.19. Was having issues in the tune with the car only shifting at 6100 when I needed to wrap it out to 6250. Nonetheless, it pulled decent numbers for being on low boost and not being out at the track for over 6 months.
Going to go back to the track when it's not so damn hot out and the air is a bit better. With a smaller blower pulley and more ice in the icebox, I should see some 12's! (If I hit 12's without nitrous, I'll be the first ever to do it at Bandimere without nitrous.)
Overall I'm pretty pleased, went faster this year on less boost and lower compression

Sweet! 12s at that elevation is definitely impressive! Would be funny to see a vid of you making a low 13/high 12 pass and then pop the trunk for some brews/munchies. _________________

Because it doesn't break often enough, and you want to add boost? |

Good point! Guess I'll have to be happy driving my GF's turbo Volvo S40 every now and then. |

Nice Marc! looking pretty race-y there with the M/T's.
Is that always where the PCM was? _________________

Originally the pcm is in the airbox. I put the pcm where it is because of the icebox (you can kinda see it below it)
Going back to the track on the 2.55 to hit some 12s _________________ 1998 Grand Prix GT | 12.91 @ 103 - Sold/Retired

Haha in a way I suppose it does! But I can do a WOT 1/4 mile run and come back to the pits and the blower is barely warm. _________________ 1998 Grand Prix GT | 12.91 @ 103 - Sold/Retired
