According to what info I have seen, it seems that the front spindle (upright) failed. Obviosly, somehow under hard breaking both of them broke... I wonder if it was a manufacturing defect.

Happened so quickly he probably didn't realise it until he was heading for that wall, then he tried to "steer" away. Luckily, it wasn't worse instead of him just "bumping" that wall.

Seeing those spectators scramble did make me laugh though. Perfect title for them because I'm sure more than one said, "OH SH*T!"
