1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z

I carfaxed the Iroc for fun today, found out the chassis has 271k on it. Never been wrecked, and failed emissions for a while after the 350 swap, it's a gross polluter! Pretty happy it's never been in a wreck, at least a major one, I was pretty sure that's why it'd been repainted!

it may still have been. my GTA carfaxes clean, yet it was wrecked bad enough to require a new front fender, bumper, door, and massive body work to the drivers side door sill rear fender area.

all of this the prior owner never told me until a year after i bought the car. Surprised

It looks like it's bumped something, lots of the nose mounting brackets are busted, or cracked, but the fenders have no bondo, and I can't see any other sign of a wreck. I would guess he bumped the back wall of his garage one time...

Equian (sp?) Autocheck is cheaper. Thirty bucks for unlimited reports for one month. I ran both on the F-150 when I bought it and they both had nearly identical info in them. The nice thing is that Autocheck e-mails you a file so you can reference your report after your time runs out.

http://www.autocheck.com/

It's $44.99 for unlimited. For $30 I was gonna do it. $45, meh. Might get a couple friends together and Autocheck all of our cars. Cool

Damn. Prices have gone up. That sucks. Shocked

If you decide to go in on one, I've got a few bucks and a VIN for a Ford F-250 HD. Very Happy
