Ok then, in years past we have gathered together at a pizza parlor while folks rolled into town. Since most of us will be staying at my place, let's just plan on meeting up here. As mentioned above, I won't be able to be home until 6 PM so please plan accordingly. If I manage to get out of work a bit early I will post up here.
Keep your fingers crossed but so far, looking like unseasonably warm weather and sunshine for Saturday (60*-65*). I mapped out about a 45-50 mile cruise last weekend but if the weather holds, I am thinking about extending that a bit. Nothing spectacular but running along some of the backroads here out of the hustle and bustle of PDX proper.
For activities, beyond the drinking and lying, err, 'bench racing' that we normally do, I have a dart board in the garage, Wii in the living room and XBOX 360 in the basement. I was thinking if folks are into it, we could do a Wii bowling tournament and dart tournament Saturday night. Guitar Hero will be set up in the basement to rock out... this has been a favorite over at Paully and Brandy's place. I have cards, dice and all sorts of other games if desired. Hot tub is available if you would like to take a soak.
Wireless access and WEP key will be provided to techno nerds when you get here if needed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are my thoughts on food. I am not married to any of it but let's use this as a starting point for the discussion.
Friday Night:
I was thinking that we could just get some take and bake pizzas. I am open to either people bringing some or I can pick some up and folks can contribute. If you like this idea and have a preference from Papa Murphy's, let me know.
Saturday Morning:
This always comes too early! We can either have a few muffins at the house or just pick up some muffins/donuts on the way to the dyno event.
Saturday Lunch:
Normally we end up at Fuddrucker's. I am ok with that but with the cruise that I have planned, we could easily detour up to Calamity Jane's in Sandy. This is also a burger joint but if you have never been there it would be a treat.
Saturday Dinner:
I was thinking BBQ at my place. I will provide pork ribs and BBQ beans (Crew + Drinking + Methane). I also have a few Veggie Burgers if anyone is interested. Others could contribute sides, other meat that is desired? What do you all think?
Sunday Breakfast/Lunch:
Let's be honest, we won't be moving real early. Figured we could drive up to the local Denny's just a couple of miles away. My arm could be twisted into making breakfast if preferred. Let me know.
I will update/finalize menu as our discussion unfolds. We will need snack items for the weekend. I will have some but if you want to bring some chips/pretzels/etc. that would be great.
Post up! I am stoked.

I will bring:
--A Steak or two (for Sat BBQ)
--Burger Buns
--Maccaroni Salad
--Beans or Chili
--My own Tasty Adult Beverages
--Myself
--Med Sized cooler w/ ice
Mike, I'll probably run the food stuff by on Friday night, so i don't have to cart it around with me on Saturday on the cruise. _________________

I'll have an enchilada casserole that will need to go in the oven. I'm thinking it will go just fine with the Saturday fare _________________ 92 Camaro

Now I'm getting excited. Although as of right now I have a wicked food poisoning. I had planned to stop by costco on my way out of town to pick up a bunch of their muffins. Cool? Maybe I'll bring down Salmon burgers too. Dirty Steve seems to like them.

Things to bring... Check!
As far as pizza goes, I'll bring a pizza or two in meat lover's style. (meat meat meat no veggies)

We'll bring chips to snack on. I'm thinking:
Doritos (nacho cheese and cool ranch) and BBQ of some kind.
Any other suggestions of popular kinds, please let me know. My chip knowledge is not so vast.
and contribute to pizzas, drinks etc. |

Yes indeed Mike thank you very much, hope we didn't get you in trouble with the neighbors, and maybe more importantly with Mrs. Unca Shultzy. _________________ Killing mailboxes since 2009 |
