Just picked up a 35k 2000 LS1/T56 combo out of a SS Camaro. I am going to have a project and a half here tryin to get this installed in my 3rd gen.
Should be worth it all in the end though. Hopefully I'll get johnnyiroc to help me out a little bit. But I mean i can use all the knowledge i can get if anyone knows anything about this swap.
I have been readin up on it and it looks like a task. Especially for a 85 carb z28.
Anyway the way i got this motor/tranny is great. My cousin bid on it on ebay for $2000 just to see if it would meet the reserve. And it ended up sellin for like 3200... but the guy backed out and he emailed my cousin to see if he wanted it for $2000. I jumped all over it. Wish my luck cause i imagine i got another 2-4k before the thing will even be able to run.
