Today when I was grocery shopping I saw my Firebird in its full glory. Mud from visiting my Dad's garage all over the rear quarter, rusty chrome/steel rims, leaking exhaust, a heavy smell of gasoline in the air, and one headlight assembly that won't go down on it's own.

I came to the conclusion that there was one more thing required to complete the perfect image of what it means to own a 1983 Firebird in 2010. A forty of Olde English "800", which I am enjoying, somewhat, right now.

On a side note I have a truck load of new parts awaiting install after I get back next month from going out to sea again including a new engine, and spohn suspension. Only after the car performs well will I spend money to make it look nice.

There's a reason that that beer has the same name as a furniture polish. Laughing

When I was about 16 my sister threw a party at her place and invited me to come in and get wasted without the parents finding out. They gave me a 40 of Old English 800 and I was set. Only problem is the shizzle tasted so bad that the only way to get it down was to take a big drink and then chase it with some fruitloops. One and a hlaf 40's later I created ablsolute artistic perfection in her front yard!!

So much color! Laughing

Not that it I like it but I can tolerate it. for $2.50 for a forty "foety" of Old E I can't afford to get drunk. I've been drinking Haywire a bit recently. Not bad.

My roommate had a can of "earthquake" yesterday. Holy Shat is that a horrible concoction. Tastes like someone left Olde E out for a few hours and then added some sparks in with it. It made my mouth sad.

That panda photo was worthy of its own thread. On a side note I've moved on to jack daniel's single barrel.

most fitting vanity plate I remember seeing, was that guy at the track a couple years ago with the "U Dork" plate.

Anyone got a picture?

Hehe yeah. It was "U Dork" and the picture was of the guys trying to jimmy the lock loose after he locked his keys inside! I had to snap a pic!
