Its a traditional v style pushrod motor just like a 350 or 4.3.

Core is 2.25 inch thick. Fins are insanely close, alot denser than the old model.

It's all good mang. From the very beginning, 3800's have always been pushrod. (Pre Series, Series I/II/III)

Although, there was a 3.4 DOHC stuffed in the W-Bodies.

Yeah, if you get past there pain-in-the-ass-ness they respond very well to boost. I believe one company is making a bit over 700whp out of one.

I drove one of those hot-rod LTZ lumina's with that 4 cam V6, even bone stock it wasn't joke, thats for sure. But parts are definetly scarce.
