Hey guys. I'm gearing up to finally install my TPI motor into my bird and really the last step of preparation I have left to do is to match the bulkhead connectors so the wiring harnesses get power where they need it. I've been having a problem locating the electrical parts needed to modify the connectors so I can make this a plug and play deal. I just need the actual pins/terminals whatever they are called to place into the unused spots on my factory bulkhead connector. Any help on this would be awesome, and of course any tips from anyone who may have done this before would blow me away. Thank you.

I don't know about up north where you are but I get almost all my electrical terminals from NAPA and a place called C&G Electronics. It's kind of like what Radioshack was back in the day.

It looks like I mostly need to make provisions for the in tank fuel pump and add some fused circuits for the more electrically demanding tpi ecm+injectors. It shouldn't be too hard, I've both the original harness and the complete harness from when I pulled this TPI motor out of the donor car. For now I'm installing the engine carburated because I need the firebird to be a dependable runner ASAP because my taurus sho is inches from death.

Oh, it looks like I read that reply too fast. Repinning the interior (dash) side of the bulkhead connector to make it compatible with the 1988 TPI harness is what I'm hoping to do. So far it looks like all I have to do is add some simple circuits but we'll see how it turns out.

Yeah, it looks like they have exactly what I need. Well. I'm off to the garage to swap my 83 305 for my rebuilt 88 305. I'm leaving it carburated for now because I'm short on time and really need an engine. Mostly don't feel like dropping the rear and putting in the new fuel tank.
