I'm trying to find some drawings of the Vortech supercharger kit for carburetor on big block Chevy. Need to check fit in engine bay and hood clearance. Anybody able to find this? I've come up empty.

That's the standard bracket. Can you find something on the low mount instead? Part number 4GA218-040.

The carb enclosure link definitely helps! Thanks!

The supercharger kit is not the low mount version. The low mount is the one I'm having so much trouble finding anything about.

Ya, she won't even be able to see except to turn left. Laughing

Whoever did that obviously put a lot of effort into the car and then got to the hood and said, "SCREW IT!!!!" They knew it was so bad that they didn't even both painting it. LMAO

Well, it looks like the 7-1/2" height of the carb enclosure will take up all my hood clearance. No room left for the intake manifold. An Edelbrock Torker II manifold is about 4 inches high.

Hell, with that motor he could probably just drive around with no hood on it at all:

I don't either. And that's exactly what I don't want my car to look like.

IDK, I really like the look of that car. 700WHP and high 9's in the quarter is also quite appealing.

The power and times are nothing to scoff at but I would've thought for the time/money invested in that kind of a build (replaced the entire interior/engine/trans/diff/etc) that tucking the turbos up in the battery trays to run no cowl or a smaller cowl would've been simple. Meh. Impressive nonetheless!

He uses proper T-Bolt clamps on the pressure side. You only need a hose clamp for the filter inlet.
