Well if anyone knows about the funeral arrangements please post. If anything we can take up a collection and get a nice wreath for him. _________________ Member of the "Elite T56 Club" , big brake club, and "burgundy" (not red or maroon) car owner.

| Yes Ian, please let us know if there is a service. I would like to help pitch in to get a nice wreath or flower arrangement from all of us. |

F#ck! I just messaged him about meeting for drinks a month or so ago. He lived here in Renton not far from me. I wondered why I hadn't heard from him. _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

This is Merrilee, it's been a long time and some of you may remember me, he lived with me in Salem for a while, I'm the really tall chick that had the blue tiburon. I met quite a few of you and had a blast one weekend up in WA (great roads too).
I've texted with his mother and she says she will let me know when/where the service is. Although I hadn't spoken with Aaron in about 6 months I had kept in touch and seen his mother fairly regularly over the years.
Anywoo, just wanted to say that I'm sorry you lost one of yours. |

That's really sad. I met him once, at the last Cows and really enjoyed talking to him. I'm sad I couldn't have a chance to get to know him better. I'm in for a small amount if a collection comes around. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

| I only met Aaron once also, at the Tacoma Mini Gathering several years ago. Though we had just met, we talked like we were old friends. We chatted on the boards alot over the years and I considered him a friend. Its sad that Aaron didn't feel that he could turn to any of us for support when he so obviously needed it. I will miss him. |

| I thought I would give an update. His mother called me this evening. She has not started making arrangements for a memorial service yet, but plans to start figuring out the how/when/where of it very soon. |

I don't think I ever met Aaron, but it saddens me to hear things like this just the same and even more so from this small community we all share.
"The other" John, The thing about depression is that the person knows that they can turn to family and friends, they even know who those people are. Aaron knew he could talk to his family, his Fiance, his friends he just chose not to. Thats the infuriating part of it. My mother attempted suicide when I was 15 and even my wife reached that level of depression where she wouldn't get out of bed and wouldn't eat etc. I asked her about it and all she would say was Whats the point. I have learned far more about this kind of thing than I ever wanted to know and all I can say with any reasonable degree of certainty is that he knew where the help was. He had friends and family around him, even a puppy knows where the people are that care for it. In my wifes case it is easy to spot the signs, when one doesn't move for a couple days and into a week its clear, but other people hide it so much better. This is a real tragedy and very sad. _________________ Killing mailboxes since 2009 |

I have spoken again with his mother. She could use some help and so could his fiancee, and I know that some have asked about donations. She is starting to plan a memorial, but it will probably be about 2 weeks out.
If anyone is interested in sending cards, etc to either his mother or fiancee, please contact me and I will supply an address to you.
For those who would like to send a donation, his mother does not have paypal and is not in a place where she feels she can deal with the process of setting one up. I can provide an address for those comfortable with donating cash/checks, or for those who prefer paypal, you may use my account and I will send her a check, my paypal email is m.gilley@comcast.net Please make the donation as a personal contribution/gift and not as a purchase to avoid Paypal fees. |

Hello everyone, I'm Aaron's fiance', Alishea. I'm sorry to meet you guys under these circumstances.
I have spent most of the week trying to gain access to Aaron's accounts so I can inform anyone and everyone he knew of what happened. I decided for you guys, to just make my own account, I hope that was ok.
Aaron did in fact commit suicide in our home on Monday afternoon. I was with him in his final moments as I waited for Fire and Rescue. He never regained consciousness.
His Mom and I are working closely on trying to plan a Memorial, as Aaron will be cremated according to his wishes. I'll keep you guys up to date about what I know. Currently we're in the process of picking a location, it will most likely be somewhere kind of centrally located on the Puget Sound. I figure in the next few days we'll come to that conclusion. Time line for the Memorial will most likely be second to last or last weekend of this month.
I read the previous posts on this thread, no, I'm not ok, but I'm trying to pull through. I have the support of my family, some good friends, and Aaron's family. I am fortunately from here as well, so that helps. Aaron and I were just kind of wandering souls for the better part of the decade, we found each other again, and decided to make the trek home together. He was doing VASTLY better, he had made great changes in his life. But, there were those deep rooted demons, some medical issues, as well as some emotional issues we were working hard to overcome.
I'll try very hard to answer any questions you guys may have.
Thanking you for keeping him, and us in your thoughts.

Alishea,
I am incredably sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine the nightmare you went through, and are still going through. There just are not words to convay the deep sorrow that I feel for you. If there is anything that we can do to help either you or Aaron's mother, please don't hesitate to ask.
Many of us were friends with Aaron for many years (the very first gathering that I went to was at his house back in 2001, I had talked with him on the internet for a couple of years prior to that also). It is incredibly sad that he is no longer with us, but the real tragidy, is with the people who loved him that are left.
The only thing I think I can say, is that my thoughts and prayers are with you and his mom.

Thank you for your condolences. It means a lot coming from people that Aaron enjoyed hanging out with, and talking to so much. Like I said on his Facebook, keeping him in your thoughts means his still alive. So, don't stop thinking about him or talking about him. I'll keep you all up to date on the Memorial.
On a side note, I will be keeping in touch, I am keeping Aaron's Grand Prix, I know nothing spectacular, but I would like to do some of the modifications to it he wanted to do. Our intention was to eventually get him another Camaro, me another Hearse, and maybe rebuild an engine for one or both of them. This will have to do for now. I would love to have help and/or advice from people he respected and trusted.
Also, if there are any funny, serious, silly, down right ridiculous pictures you guys have that he's shared over the years, I and his Mom would LOVE to see them! I know they're out there floating about. I have a ton, but I can never have enough pictures of Aaron around. You can send them to me at faerieoona@yahoo.com.
Thanks guys, I'll keep you posted.
