After getting the exhaust dialed, a worthy weather day rolled in and I drove the TA and loved it.
The sound and performance were fantastic…sunny cool October day…Nice!
I parked it in the garage, and later that night I was heading out the side garage door and passing behind the Shark
I could smell radiator…I got down and took a look…sure as heck drip, drip, drip from the weep hole…Shizzle!
Ahhh nothing like a great new mod installed and rocking and then something else checks out on you,
now to the credit of the water pump…it was the Original and had served well, no complaints.
I opted to roll with the Edelbrock Hi-Performance (Endurashine) not only does it move some water…it looks great doing it,
I am such a junkie for shiny parts…good grief!
The other thing that was an eye-sore was the old overflow bottle...it was the original and had seen it's day!
So that was replaced as well.

I took pics and wanted to post them with the write-up, however a popup said that I had hit my max upload quota of 50mg...not sure on that one!
Let me know if I have messed something up!

Sounds like you need some http://photobucket.com Wink

How big is your new overflow? I know a lot of the universal ones are real small (1 pint) and it's way to small for a healthy V8.

Hey thanks for the link Aaron! Very Happy
I had my Parts friend at GMC get me the actual GM part...along with the screw top! It is exactly like the stock one...just new and white!
Yes I have seen the aftermarket options, I agree with you, a healthy piss could over flow those little buckets! Laughing
Thanks man!

A decent pic of the new overflow bottle...sorry it's a bit dark, the over heads were not on!
You can also see the neck of the new water pump...shiny!

Out of the hundreds of pics I have snapped of the shark and various
parts...the water pump is tough to get a good shot of... and of course all
of the yack doesn't help!

Very nice Rich. Funny that one of the cleanest engine compartments in the crew is on one of the oldest cars. Very sano.

Usually I go the other way with my engine bays, but I gotta respect anybody who takes the time to get that many vacuum lines and harness wires clean and properly routed. You The Man.
