This is Ford XY GT replica i just purchased recently off my brother who was restoring it.

We have rebuilt all the running gear including motor and all the suspension. the car drives A1. i just need to do the body and the interior. _________________ "Its not the speed that kills, Its the sudden stop". |

The XY GT HO is Australia's most popular and fastest muscle car of its time and for a genuine one they fetch anywhere between $100,000 to $1,000,000 depending on the KM and originality.

There is heaps of vids on youtube for who ever wants to check them out.

				| Is it a fairly standard Furd engine and chassis, or is there something special about it? I have to admit a bit of ignorance about Aussie models. |

When I was out there in 1990 with the Navy, all the cars with any performance mods were 4-door sedans. I did see a nice right hand drive 2nd gen black Z28 though.

Looks like a nice project and pretty rare. _________________ 92 Camaro

Looks like its based on a either the Fairlane chassis or a later 60's Falcon chassis.

Sweet car either way! _________________

it is based on the 60's model falcon.

i have seen two door american versions that were in there 60's. we had the 4 doors here and they were XT falcons.

but if you are going to go 2 door, it would have to be MADMAX's XB coupe. _________________ "Its not the speed that kills, Its the sudden stop". |
