so me and brian took his GTI to Mouse meat inc.. in tacoma to have the exhaust leek fix and he plugged in the o2 sensor that was not plugged in, anyways on the drive home the tranny was slipping and it was idling higher but on the drive there it was fine even at full throtle. WTF happened?

Well the o2 is plugged in now, so the computer is taking readings from the O2. So either something else is wrong and it has a limp mode where it runs on defaults when something like the O2 is unplugged, or the O2 is bad.
