I have a 2000 Ford Superduty 2WD. I just want a basic truck wheel with a chrome finish that is a hub centric design. Seems to be impossible to find. Everything is either 20 inches or looks like the ricer crowd joined the truck market.
Any ideas? Anybody know where you can buy new OE wheels? Nothing lasts like a factory finish wheel, that's for sure! |

| Ford screwed the pooch in 99 with the Super Duty when they changed the 8 lug pattern. I see stock aluminums go pretty cheap. My 96 uses the old 8 lug pattern that crosses over with the other manufacturers wheels. |

Ya, I found a nice set on ebay that will end bidding Sunday. But it will probably run between $350 - $400 before the item ends and the parts are on my door step. My original wheels are peeling clearcoat and pitting.
I have a hard time paying that much since my truck will look like crap within a few years anyway. The midwest is tough on the body and I already have some rust forming on the wheel well lip, hail damage (top of cab is BAD!), and a few pieces of paint beginning to peel off. Then again, if I get a newer truck it will get hail damage.... rust.... and paint will peel off. |
