| Hello everyone. been lurkin around on here for a while and thought I should introduce myself and maybe get to know a few of you. My name is Shawn, I live in Coupeville (Whidbey Island), and have an 86 Z-28. It's a bit of a basket case right now. The tranny slips, timing is off, carb needs adjusted, somehow the back window got broken (think I know how and it wasn't on purpose), T-Tops leak (have new seals for it). But I bought it knowing it needed some work. So here I am in Afghanistan for the 3rd summer in a row wishing I was back home so I could work on the car while it is nice. I entertain myself by buying parts off the internet for it. Just today I bought a set of fog lights, an A/C control panel, and fog lights switch/bezel for $50 shipped. Damn good deal I think! Just thought I would introduce myself and maybe start chatting more on the boards. Happy cruising this summer everyone! |
