well today my brother had somone come take alook at his honda because we thought the transmission was bad. but turned out it had a broken transmission mount,3 broken motor mounts a bunch of bolts missing from the transmission and alot of others really loose. it was so bad the engine jumped and hit the hood and put a gash in it,and when it would jump it pulled a bunch of vacuum line off the carb. it also is missing a swaybar bushing, the axle boot it torn and the rack n pinion boot is also torn. and with all this the thing still will drive down the street with no real problem once u get going Laughing . i am just amazed the engine and transmission didnt fall out the dam thing, i mean what else is there holdin theses in Confused

Gravity and hopes and dreams

for a good time hit a speed bump at 60 or so while laying hard on the brakes and see where it goes. Oh and have the video camera going when you do I want to see that .

Should have still been sitting in the cradle. How are your CV joints? If the trans was moving that much you could have yanked them pretty good.

Actually, that would explain it about perfectly. You got the rush job and some stuff didn't make it back in.

heh thats messed up and funny at same time...my cousin use to have a late 80s acura...basically a honda....and the motor dropped out of the car one day at a stoplight only thing keeping it from falling out of car is that when it fell out cuz of bad motor mount it dropped at angle and wedged itself...i thought it was funny cuz i got call to go pick him and his gf up that his car broke get there and the motor was on the ground and oil everywhere...i couldnt help it but i was laughing pretty good...so maybe it was the shop could of been just cuz its a honda lol...although in most cases they do make good cheap reliable daily drivers...but there always seems to be one or two cases of something terribly going wrong with them
