I showed up to work today and my 100 yr old brick building was already about 95* inside at 8:00 in the moring...
I was in the office for about 5 min till the other intern showed up and we decided to go to the library on campus to hide in the AC. I'm just going to work from the library computers all day

Man, you people up North had better not be complaining. It was 103 down here yesterday, and it's supposed to hit 105 today. Sux cause I got work to do and the shop is pretty much unbearable right now. |

All time high here in Vancouver at 106ºF Yesterday. They're calling for the same or hotter today.
I'm escaping to the beach after work! Hooray for going in early. It's only 88 in here now but it's muggy. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

When I got up at 4:00am this morning it was 76 degrees outside. AT 1:45 today it was 108 degrees on the concrete slab we placed yesterday and 146 degrees on the PT deck we are placing Firday. One of my foreman had flown some of his column forms down onto the deck and had his crew modifieng them all day. The ply wood skin that is own the forms is Fin Ply, black birch face. The temps taken off of the face of that plywood were 170 - 185 degrees. When I found out the column crew had been working on those all day I sent them and the deck crew home. |

108* measured in the shade at around 4 o-clock. Down to around 101* right now.
Didn't get any real work done today, shop was WAY too hot. Put a water pump in an El Camino, and cleaned a POS Grand Am up for sale. Both those cars were outside in the shade, so it worked out for me. |

I was going to blame you for this weather. Nature training you for texass. Haha.
I guess I'm lucky. The parts room has decent AC (only area in the store) and the parts truck AC works awesome! And I told my boss I wasn't wearing the penguin suit uniform today so I was in a tshirt and shorts.
Tomorrow is my day off so I'm spending the day at the lake. The water at American Lake was 80* by 9am! _________________

We used to roll to American lake all the time when we lived up there.
Great Place to roll on! I was also a big fan of the sound...once the sack goes up into your gut it's all good to go! _________________

I had the red 89 at work today because I was supposed to play softball tonight. A/C is empty in that thing and Bothell got to 106. Felt like a blast furnace with the hot air coming through the windows.
According to the local news station, here,s the rundown for this week...
