Thanks Al, the rims look alot different than the Phantom Black wheels we test fit on your car.

I purchased a set of Dunlop 245 / 45 / 17's from Discount Tire today for the convertible, should be in by Wednesday and installed by Saturday. The bill came to 570.00 for the tires installed including the MFG's rebate.

Disount Tire said that the rims were made by ACE, and that they were a high quality rim. The counter guy said " you didnt need to buy those from SLP", so I asked him to give me their price. He searched, then said he would have to call the MFG becuase they didnt list the correct OS. He did sy that the price was competitive and Discount Tire may not be able to get the correct OS. I told him about the Phantom Black wheels that I bought for under 600.00 for my 87 and he said it was a great deal. They couldnt come within 400.00 for comparison.

Man, what a hectic night. I hate going to the Verizon store in Woodinville.

I snapped a couple of crappy pics of the convertible with the new shoes. It needs to be lowered, but looks pretty good.

Nice car! Cool

You need to tell the neighbor that juniper bushes don't grow back if you trim beyond the green. Laughing

Lol, I wacked the Junipers back this spring, next spring they will be yarded out just like the 8' hedge was this spring. My neighbors freaked out when I did this, I told them they hedge died becuase of all of the snow this past winter! Need to make room for the wider driveway.

The pictures dont really do the car justice, it is really clean but has 200K freeway miles on it. The guy I bought it from traveled to Portland Oregon from Kirkland WA 3 times a week for ten years. Sometimes mileage doesnt count, this is one instance. Some people want a peice of art that they can put in a warehouse ( like a peice of art work, hang it on the wall and look at it) but I like to drive my cars.

Really? I need to do that to mine. They're taking over the yard!

The best way to trim them is with a 2" nylon strap and a 4 wheel drive truck.

I beg to differ. Dad's backhoe is a sweet yard care tool. Most of the time you don't even have to get out of the seat. Smile
