Or just because you can fit a 2 foot muffler under your truck, should you?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-12286/

Currently the stocker in it has a 20" case. That Magnaflow has a 24" case. Without the cat it looks like it should fit easily. I want the truck to be as quiet as possible without sacrificing flow (I've had my fill of loud cars on the freeway). Will that muffler be much quieter than a normal 16-18" case?

A magnaflow is going to be a straight through design, which means no goofy baffles changing direction of flow like a typical case muffler.

I'd think it'd be about the same, but definitely better flow.

Sweet. I'll snag that muffler and the Hedman headers off of Summit, and get some Remflex gaskets from Ian for it.

Now if only there was someone who had pipe and a welder, whose heads I had sitting in the back of the shop... Very Happy
