So the Camaro needs paint, and so does the Mazda. What better way to test and hone skills than to paint the less important daily driver first!

More to come in the next few weeks.

Umm, let me know if you want some help in the evenings. I need to get some practice in, my car is going to need something done soon...

And yeah, where are we going to practice tomorrow?

Typcial perfectionist stuff lol. First ever paint job, quick and dirty. Turns intol a mini resto!

Everything is taken off concerning where paint will be layed. Por-15 alot of spots like the windshield frame. All little bits of rust taken car of. Little body filler (Thanks Brandon!) and some hand sanding a few spots. All in all a pretty straight car.

Need to sand the hood down, hand sand the chassis door hinges, inside of one door, and sand the bumpers and I'm ready to tape up and primer. So 3-4 hours of work is all really.

Super close!

Layed the first layer of primer. I'm pretty happy for it being the first time I've really ever sprayed (except 1/4 of Brandon's hood once lol.)

And learning a gun and setup and all by myself. Well, asked lots of questions and got wisdom, but no one was there but me! LOL Thankfully Brandon's coming out this weekend to help!!!!!!

Well we shot the color and the clear this weekend and got the big parts put back on. There's some junk in the paint, but that's what you get when you paint in the summer when there's pollens and wind and in your garage!
