So yesterday i started replacing my plug wires when a buddy of mine noticed the distributor points were a little oxydized. So i took off all the wires to discover every point crusted with white oxy. and rust. So we took off the cap to find the rotor chared. luckly my buddy had a spare hardly used cap and rotor for a 305, So we put them on and changed the wires. Now i sware to jebus I got back what feels like all my throttle response and like 50 - 100hp. It's alot faster now and with alot less hezitation.

ya, with the kids these days you can hear the BOV before they even propasition for a race. I usually reply with," your turbo vs. my stock 305. thats like me racing against a ford festiva !!!" Get real.
.
. or ................
sure lets race after i drop 5k into my engine like your daddy did for you and really see how good your turbo or gsr ricer works for you then.....

Laughing

It isn't hard to spot the hatch who knows he's got some speed. But it doesn't take anywhere near 5k to make turbo a honda correctly. under 1500 will do the basic on a low boast b18c/b motor. I've had a few come through the car lot, ugly fast is still ugly, but they will blow the doors off my SVT.

Glad to see you got that problem fixed!

And i meant no offense last weekend by anything i said about your ride. I was purely saying that you have a project on your hands but it is totally do-able. Keep up the good work brother! Rock on!

The Volvo guys I hung out with last weekend seemed to think 15 seconds was fast.....

For a volvo........Laughing

The sad thing was the guy was running a B23FT (2.3L) with the stock turbo running 22lbs of boost.

Me thinks something else was wrong.
