| my friend has a 92 v6 camaro. he is bringin it over today for an oil change so i want to try to figure out whats wrong with his car. this morning when he started it, it had trouble starting, it sounded really weak, idk really how to explain the sound, but he also says that around corners and at low rpm's and going up hills it acts kinda wierd....i was thinkin maybe the fuel filter is clogged but i am not sure. my car kinda had similar symptoms when my fuel injectors went bad. what do you guys think it might be? |

Guess I was late did not see the date. Hope he got it fixed.
Have a good chiltons manual. I prefer the factory service manual. Worth there cost.
Check spark plugs, If some are black those injectors are etiher no spraying correctly. I had two on my 92 bird. Took some troube shooting to narrow it down.
Check wires cap and rotor etc. When was the last time they were repalced if ever. Check coil and
pcik up coil. Get and multi meter works great when trouble shooting.
Check your fuel pressure. Running and acclerating. Also check and see if injectors bleeding down.
Check for vaccum leaks. Block the intake and see if it still runs. My new camaro 91 one had such a bad vaccum leak it was unreal that it still ran.
Is it only acting up when cold?? That basic engine stuff. Hope this helps _________________ kurfbird
