Hey all,

Things have been pretty crazy right now as you all know and i haven't posted up in a while. I just wanted to share a couple things on my mind and give you all some updates.

Well now that i've finally graduated my job search has taken me on a wild ride. For a while it looked like i was headed to Cali for a marketing coordinator position. That would have been an awesome opportunity for me because it is my ideal job right now. HOWEVER it would suck to be far away from friends and family, and Rich claims it sucks Razz

Well don't worry Rich, the job fell through and has left me back at square one. In the meantime, Sarah (my hot girlfriend who paints awesome cars) has been accepted to graduate school in Austin, Texas for a doctoral program in audiology (hearing stuff).

As of now, I am working a very part time internship and have another full time internship lined up for the summer. That job will get me some more good resume building experience and will put me to work till September. At that point i am looking to move down to Te-has in search of a career down there. I know for a fact that their unemployment rate is about half that up here, gas is below $2.00, and the sun is always shining.

As much as it kills me to leave the northwest, I am excited to start a new life in a new place. AND AUSTIN HAS A KILLER 3RD GEN CLUB! Not that you all will be replaced, but i will have some insta-friends Smile

sorry for being long winded, but that's about where i'm at right now.

Yes, gas is cheap and the sun is always shining in Texas.

But the beer sucks.

As a former over the road driver I have been to every state and most of Canada including every (without exception) major metropolitan center (City) in the US and Canada over the years. Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas region is probably my favorite, and the I-35 corridor between Dallas and San Antonio is perhaps my mostest favorite area. The cities are awesome the weather is nice, and there must be something in the water Wink

Have fun down there I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Well please explain to me why you like AR. Other then the views up in the northeast section, I see nothing good here.

I will be sure to make a few gatherings over the summer before i leave! I'm going to miss you all! I'm sure i'll be back at some point, all my family is up here.

And of course i wouldn't quit the crew! Cool

ps, any tips on stuff i should replace this summer to increase the chance of making it all they way to texas without getting stuck on the side of the road?

Okay, I was going to be sly and point out the large hog industry in Arkansas. But Google foiled my plan when Kewanee, IL came up as the hog capital of the world...... I guess I'm done talking smack about Texas. Laughing

Hey Now… things in Austin are more affordable, I know folks down there who have really nice homes, Cool

and they could not afford the comparable here.
There is ample employment …Good for Sarah! That is fantastic, and you will have opportunities as well.
