|
|
| so i was driving on my way to work this morning and a took a harder left hand turn and about half way through i heard this CRUNCH come from my passenger side front suspension. so i stopped but couldnt find anything wrong at least so i thought. when i was leaving work i looked at my car from both sides and noticed something. my suspension is really really jacked up. my drivers rear sits 2 inches lower than the passenger side rear and my passenger side front sits 1.5 inches lower than my drivers side, so im just wondering if anyone has any advice? i mean it sounds like i need some new springs but should i do shocks and struts too? and what the heck could that sound have been? (note the sound is only made on hard lefts it did it again on my way home). any help is appreciated. |

Ball joint or strut bearing.
Had a Rav 4 couple weeks ago. Strut bearing was bad and had similar symptoms. Was nasty. Good thing the girl doesn't think she's a Duke boy or the spring wouldn't fallen out! _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Difficulty is subjective. Take it one step at a time, rent the Ball joint tool and you can do it. Replace both of em, cause the other side isn't long behind.
Strut towers are easy. 3 Bolts up top and 1 bolt in the middle for the strut. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |
