That's a decent price for the motor. If you're going to have a shop do it, plan on a couple hours of labor. _________________ 92 Camaro

Do it yourself. At least you'll learn something. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

| I was quoted 800 for one window motor and solenoid from a dealership for a pontiac transport van. picked up the parts for 40.00 and had it done myself in a few hours time. So unless the dealership I went to was just WAAAYY outa line you really are better off doing it yourself. Unless you just want to spent a small fortune to have it done. |

That transport vancould've had one of those units that the entire inside of the door needs to be replaced. Lock solenoids, motor, regulator, rods, cables, latch, everything.
Was the parts and labor or just parts? |

The dorman/cardone motors I've used have all been subpar IMO. I picked up a pair of siemens motors from Schmucks and they are smooth and quiet. _________________

Find a motor and let these guys walk you through it if any problems. I paid a shop 150 just for labor on a replacement window motor and all they had to do was drill a hole in the door panel to access the bolts. Felt kinda used.

It was parts and labor. only the motor and solenoid and regulator.
But this is all i needed
I backed slowly towards the door when they told me 800 bucks to install a 35 dollar part. |
