After some duration of time, the Shark Lives once agian!
I got it back yesterday, all mods in and dialed. Sounds great, runs fantastic, i couldn't be happier!
So i am going to enjoy it a bit, and then off to the upholstery shop!
I threw on the custom shifter knob last night, fits perfect!
Tires go on Monday!

Thanks guys!
It was great to drive it around yesterday!
It sounds really nice, and has much more torque than it did.
It's not like the Red Sled, or Twighlight optic, or the Lama's, i went for a bit of a modified stock, and am very pleased!
The monster air cleaner Question I am thinking of either a powder coat, or
having it painted, perhaps the lower canister in Red, and the top inset Red
and the rest black, that would set it off pretty well.
The engine is DEQ pass, and that was another thing i didn't want any hassels with.
The red heater hoses are in need of replacing, well my pickiness there!
i was thinking of braided for those...however i am going to drive it a bit!
Towards the end of summer, it's getting paint!
More Coin!
Schultzy was right...JUNKIE Laughing

Oh so my 13 year old son claims "It will be Mine!"
So i took him for a rip yesterday, and broke it loose in a corner, the kids refer to that as drifting...to many ricer flicks i think!
I just called it breaking loose! Laughing

Thanks DadDawg, it sure fits the hand better than the stocker did!
Throws some life into the interior.
I also put in new power window switches, that i scored from classic, they work great and look clean, 20.00 for the set!
along with new window motors! gota say those windows are quick and very smooth now.
How about some SUN... Cool
Waiting!

I'm still wondering what to do with the stock air cleaner, i am going to keep it, so rule out the Get rid of it!... Laughing

The lower filter holder, i was thinking either a powder coat, or having a buddy spray it red, and then do the inset of the top in red, with some back trim.

I also thought of chrome, perhaps just the top, or the do the bottom half chrome and spray or powder the top red!

In regards to the chroming, i have heard that the metal can change form, and my not sit on the carb correctly, however just hear say, and i am not a metal expert!
INPUT is appreciated! Very Happy

Yea that is the other option!
If it's clean it doesn't look to bad.

The taco bell comment was in reference to along time ago when Byod build the cadzilla for zz top guy. The first drive they took the car on, they placed some microwave borritos on the intake for a bit, then took them off the intake and ate them. They werent in paper towels or wrappers either.
