Any you guys running a holley 4 barrel in your cars? my t/a is running kinda of odd. missing and surging. i removed the air cleaner and notice the fuel dripping out of the venturies at idle and mid throttle. I didn't notice the spray just more dripping. is it caused by a sticking float?

Pull the sight plug and check the float level. If its too high it will drip over. At idle there should really be nothing coming out of the boosters. The idle fuel is introduced to the airstream below the throttle plates. If the throttle plates are too far open(to compensate for a large cam) then you may also suck some fuel out of the boosters. If thats the case you may need to adjust the secondary idle screw open a bit more, and back off the primary. What you really want is both throttle shafts open the same amount at idle.

Nevermind Holley apparently had a quit recall on all their carbs.
The Metal on the carb is blistering and corroded.

That just looks like the bowl had been dry for quite some time and was corroding.

it used to be shiny and new when i installed it last summer. But its flaking off not only the bowl the metering block, the throttle plate, and the body.
